Concord, MA
Twenty minutes outside of Boston in Concord, you can find small bridges and creeks leading you to such pockets of nature as this lush green scene above that influenced thinkers like Emerson and Thoreau. Visit moss covered graveyards, grab a quant lunch at a friendly coffee shop on Main Street and brush through 19th century novels at any one of the town’s antique shops.

Boston Harbor, MA
When walking the North End of the city of Boston, it’s nearly impossible to avoid the beautiful sight of a sail boat at sea. The most breath-taking skyline I have ever seen is the mid-day outline of the city’s Leather District. Just as New York City wows ferry passengers  sailing around Battery Park with a view of the comparable Financial District, my jaw dropped when I first caught a glimpse of Boston’s Leather District cityscape.

Joe’s American Bar & Grill, Boston, MA
There’s just something special about ordering fish n’chips and a Harpoon IPA in Boston. I don’t know if it’s the batter or the hops, but everything tastes better.
Did you know? - Harpoon IPAThe origins of India Pale Ale (IPA) dictate its flavor profile. As a result of needing a beer that could withstand the trip from England to India via unrefrigerated sailing vessels, the English brewers took advantage of two natural preservatives: alcohol and hops.

The Cafe Loren, Avalon, NJ
I like to think I’m hardly bias even if I’ve worked at this restaurant the past six summers, but I have yet to taste better Jersey seafood than that served at the Cafe Loren in Avalon, NJ. Open for over 30 years, the Cafe has become a landmark to frequent summer visitors along the southern tip of the Jersey coast.
Beginning at the top left- lobster risotto, scallops with a corn and edamame succotash, Norwegian salmon served with shrimp fried rice, crusted ahi tuna with sriracha and a walnut crusted goat cheese salad.
BYOB, $30-50 pp.

First off, I’ve got to give credit where credit is due. My darling friend Jade introduces me to the best eats in Philadelphia each and every time I visit :) What I recommend in this South Philly hotspot for brunch -
Veggie Benedict  – $9Portobello mushrooms, sauteed spinach and roasted peppers on toasted brioche rounds topped with two poached eggs and a rich hollandaise sauce
And, of course, the coffee. Serving fresh Columbia coffee with the choice of milk and french sugar cubes.

EL VEZ, Philadelphia, PA
Viva la El Vez guacamole and the simple yet brilliant blend of tomato, onion, jalapeno, cilantro and lime into one avocado masterpiece. And don’t you dare leave without ordering the Nacho Momma - nachos with black beans, smoked chili salsa, sour cream, white cheddar and monterey jack cheeses. You’ll thank me later.
